My name is Jared Daly, and I started Elec Tech Restore because I was reading about how much technology is disposed of per year in the US alone. Of all the technology that is disposed of, only a small amount is properly disposed of in the correct way.

I’ve worked in the IT field for the past 5 years, so I have some experience when it comes to handling and repairing technology. I’ve worked on a wide variety of devices, including laptops and computers, gaming consoles, peripheral devices, etc. Sometimes the fix a device needs is as simple as a good cleaning, while other times the issue is much more complex.

I completely understand that not all technology is able to be saved in the way I would like, but I can ensure that your donated technology can be disposed of through the proper channels. I will work with local electronic recycling companies to ensure that the technology that is disposed of is recycled in a way that protects the environment.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my family. I have a Jack Russell and a Blue Heeler, along with a Chinchilla. I’ve seen everywhere how bad everything has gotten for pet rescues and how much of a workload they have. I’ve always wanted to provide monetarily to their causes, and I realized I can combine my passion for technology longevity with providing support to our countries animal rescues. I want to live in a world where no animal has to suffer, and do everything in my power to making that world a reality.
